Multipurpose Tent
During the course of the “Bárbara” storm, which devastated the national territory on October 19, 2020, the Culatra Fishing Center lost the only relevant community infrastructure, the multipurpose tent of Clube União Culatrense.
This structure was the only space on the island that made it possible for the community to meet safely, hold cultural events, the reserve space for possible eviction responses and various receptions, especially for health issues that, in the context of a pandemic, would serve as a field hospital.
This initiative aims to recover this infrastructure as well as provide it with better security and circulation conditions to host all types of activities that can contribute to the well-being of the community.
The structure will also be equipped with a photovoltaic energy production unit (22kwp) for self-consumption, with a high potential demonstrating the energy transition, respect for the ecosystem and efficient management of resources.
