CER Rural
The CEL RURAL project aims to promote the implementation of renewable energies at the rural level to reinforce the development of a sustainable and local energy system in cross-border regions of the POCTEP space through the adoption of innovative models of shared energy self-consumption in the field of local energy communities (CEL) in rural environments.
This objective addresses the challenge of promoting a fair energy transition based on the promotion of a decentralized, democratic, and sustainable energy system that allows taking advantage of the territory's endogenous renewable resources.
With the implementation of these CELs there is the opportunity to create green, quality employment, which contributes to the establishment of the population in the rural territory, by promoting distributed generation through prosumers and the CELs.
